BIOCENTER

TATAA Biocenter is world’s largest organizer of hands-on training in molecular analyses and Europe’s leading provider of nucleic acid analysis services in compliance with ISO17025 standard. In 2007 TATAA Biocenter was the first company in Europe to provide digital PCR services to researchers and published in 2008 one of the first papers featuring an application of digital PCR on a high throughput platform (Nucleic Acids Research 36: 387, 2008). TATAA experts also coauthored the Guidelines for Minimum Information for Publication of Quantitative Digital PCR Experiments (Clinical Chemistry 59:6, 2013).

EMBL
European Molecular Biology Laboratory

Founded in 1974, EMBL is Europe’s flagship laboratory for the life sciences – an intergovernmental organisation with more than 80 independent research groups covering the spectrum of molecular biology. It operates across six sites: Heidelberg, Barcelona, Hamburg, Grenoble, Rome, and EMBL-EBI Hinxton. EMBL was set up in order to promote molecular biology across Europe, and to create a center of excellence for Europe’s leading young molecular biologists. The multifaceted training programme of EMBL is world-renowned and makes the Laboratory a true meeting place for biologists in Europe.

GHENT
UNIVERSITY

Digital PCR @ Ghent University is a group of researchers (professors, postdocs, PhD students) combining their expertise from biomedical science and statistics to advance the development and dissemination of novel applications and methodology for digital PCR platforms.

They work on several digital PCR platforms including the Bio-Rad QX100, Bio-Rad QX200 and Stilla Naica System. Currently, researchers from four research groups are collaborating on digital PCR projects on different applications such as HIV, genetics or biostat.
